Pregnancy checks and scans
The midwife checks you and your baby, and we do pregnancy scans here.

Come for a pregnancy check at any stage of your pregnancy. The midwife sees you in the room for mothers and babies (the maternity room), checks your blood pressure and weight, asks how the pregnancy is going and examines you. We do pregnancy scans (ultrasound) here, so you can see how the baby is growing at the same visit.
Our lab can do the tests used in pregnancy, including a blood count and tests for HIV, hepatitis B and syphilis, with the result the same day. If you plan to give birth with us, the midwife tells you what to expect and what to bring. Bring your pregnancy card (the antenatal card) each time so we can keep it up to date.
What happens at the visit
Here it is, step by step.
Tell the front desk you are here, and show your pregnancy card.
The nurse checks your blood pressure, weight, temperature and pulse.
The midwife sees you in the maternity room.
A scan and any tests you need, with the result the same day.
Any medicines or tablets from the dispensary, and we explain each one.
What to bring
- Your pregnancy card (the antenatal card), if you already have one.
- Old scan pictures or test results.
- Any medicines or tablets you are taking.
You can pay by cash, MTN MoMo or Airtel Money. We do not take insurance.
