You give the sample
We take a little blood from a vein in your arm.
Our lab does the test
It is done here, in the same building.
You get the result the same day
The doctor goes through it with you and explains what it means. If you need medicines, you get them from our dispensary before you leave. You go home with a printed note of your visit.
Before you come
You can eat before this test. Eat and drink as normal.
As part of your pregnancy checks. When you have a sore on your private parts that does not hurt, or a rash on your palms or the soles of your feet. When your partner has been told they have syphilis.
