What happens at the visit

The doctor asks for the test
This happens in your room, while the doctor is with you.
You give the sample
You give some urine in a small container from the lab.
Our lab does the test
It is done here, in the same building.
You get the result the same day
The doctor goes through it with you and explains what it means. If you need medicines, you get them from our dispensary before you leave. You go home with a printed note of your visit.
Before you come
You can eat before this test. Eat and drink as normal.
When it burns or hurts to pass urine. When you pass urine more often than usual. When your urine is cloudy or has blood in it. When you have pain in your lower back or lower belly. It is also part of a pregnancy check.
