What happens at the visit

The doctor asks for the test
This happens in your room, while the doctor is with you.
You give the sample
We take a little blood from a vein in your arm.
Our lab does the test
It is done here, in the same building.
You get the result the same day
The doctor goes through it with you and explains what it means. If you need medicines, you get them from our dispensary before you leave. You go home with a printed note of your visit.
Before you come
You can eat before this test. Eat and drink as normal.
When a fever has gone on for several days, with stomach pain, a headache, no appetite or diarrhoea. It matters most when the malaria test shows no malaria.
